Small plane
We had another early morning wake up, this time to head to the airport to take the tiniest plane you have ever seen to another Island. To get to the airport though we had to take a taxi pickup truck which took us to a ferry boat which took us to a bus which took us to the airport.
This is the part that I had been dreading when we booked this trip. I think that my Honda pilot was bigger than this entire plane. We were checked in by a woman at the ticket counter who then also took us through security who then also led us to our gate. (There are only four gates at this airport) And then who led us onto the tarmac to the tiniest plane I have ever seen. Before doing that, they had to weigh all of our backpacks and luggage and ended up putting them in a separate plane behind us. The woman nonchalantly told Evan that he was copilot, told us all where to sit, and closed the door. Off we went! It was surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be. It was a quick 25-minute flight, I may have held my breath that entire time until we landed back on the ground.
We were now in San Cristabal Island.
